Appliances within GNS-3
Introduction
GNS-3 offer preconfigured appliances and ready to be imported into the VM:
Appliances could be Cisco IOS devices (emulated with Dynamips), Virtual machines (emulated with Qemu) or Containers (dockers).
Some interesting (and useful) appliances are:
- Cisco IOS XRv 9000
- Cisco CSR 1000v
- Ubuntu Docker Guest
- and many more
Installation
- On the left navigation pane, select “All devices”
Example: adding a Linux Micro Core Appliance
